Night-Time Alchemy

This is a hand painted piece I created for this month’s CGBoost challenge! Living transmutation is often seen as an alchemy taboo. So what if a kid managed to do it to bring back his pet bird? I had a lot of fun doing this piece. I used UE4 to render it with cel shading for the final look.
